Meet our Team

Dr Cathal O Broin is a consultant specialist in Infectious Diseases at St Vincent’s University Hospital, where he is the Clinical Lead for Sexual Health and HIV Prevention.

He lectures in UCD in Global Health and is the RCPI lead for the Infectious Diseases Diploma.

He is a member of several national and international committees in HIV and sexual health including the EACS sexual health and vaccines guidelines committee, the National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) where he Chairs the HPV, MPOX and Gonococcal subgroups and the national sexual health Clinical Advisory Group.

Ms Avramovic has been programme administrator of STIF course since 2009. She is the lead point of contact for any queries.​

She is an Event Manager and  also a Research Project Manager for the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital/ University College Dublin. 

Prof Jack Lambert is a consultant in Infectious Diseases at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. He has lectured for many years in STIs in his role as Director of he programme.
